Class Summary: What do a swimming pool, a drinking fountain, and the clouds in the sky all have in common? They hold water! During this course students will learn all about the wet and wonderful world of science through the exploration of water and its properties. From learning about density and oil spills, to wave motion and water pollution, this course gives students the 411 on water.
Educational Value: Water is everywhere around us and it exists as a solid, liquid, and gas. Because water is such an essential part of the human life, this course was designed to take an in-depth look at the element and how it relates to life as we know it. The students will learn all about the properties of water, as well as how it acts as a universal solvent. In addition they will learn exactly why water is for important for life on Earth.
