Gross Out Science Camp (Entering K-5)

Miss Manners might not approve but your child definitely will! Gross out camp is a week of learning about our gross bodily functions. Learn about burping, boogers, excrement, gas, saliva, germs and investigate brains, cells, hearts, organs and blood. Kids will make exploding "toothpaste", edible excrement and handmade ice cream, and will take home their own slimy "boogers" and kid's lab coat.

Make It Camp (Entering K-5)

Roll up your sleeves, put on your makers cap, and get ready to create! This is our most hands-on camp! Campers will build their very own geodesic dome large enough for the entire camp to sit in. Who can build the strongest bridge? Can your bridge withstand the shake rattle and roll challenge? Explore the world of birds and beasts with birdhouse building and our super bug investigation. Speaking of birds, what did Hooty the owl have for dinner? A mouse? A Squirrel? A Frog? Kids will dissect owl pellets and reconstruct Hooty’s dinner. Enter the Mad Science chemistry lab and mix, mash, and brew concoctions to create cool sidewalk chalk and bath fizzers! Assemble and control pulleys, levers, catapults, simple machines, and megapinchers! Campers will discover the wonders of photography and make their own chromatography-dyed T-shirt. It’s a week packed with non-stop science fun!

Red Hot Robots (Entering 2-5)

Join us for a week of fun with amazing robots! Learn about the uses of robots in our world and spend time experimenting with super cool red-hot robots. Experiment with sound sensing robots, line-tracking robots, and more! Discover the science of circuits and how robots use sensors to explore things around them. Use your skills to build your very own working robot to take home with you!

Wings and Things (Entering K-5)

From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this week long, hands-on program will give children a bird's eye view of the history and science of flight. Your child will build many different flying devices and explore the science of aerodynamics and flight with the help of Newton's laws. We don't stop there, though, because we're heading out of the atmosphere with a look at rockets and our Galactic neighborhood! Note: Your child will bring home a working model rocket. However, If your child would like to continue his/her interest in launching rockets outside of camp, you will need to purchase a launch kit online or from a hobby shop.

 Secret Agent Lab (Entering K-5)

Ever dream of becoming a secret agent? We'll start with the basics: From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision, campers have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take home lots of gadgets like spy glasses! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a hands-on investigation of the science that spies use!

NASA: Journey Into Outer Space (Entering K-5)

From our Earth's atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, this program sends campers on a quest for exploration! Comets, planets, stars and more are all waiting to be discovered. Learn about the four forces of flight, the challenges of space travel, and even participate in a rocket launch!
