This spellbinding special event introduces children to the principles of air and pressure. Children see an incredible exothermic reaction take place and even get the chance to watch a hovercraft in action!
Sounds Like Science
Kids get tuned into learning with exciting demonstrations and experiments, including the surprisingly loud dinosaur-in-a-can, the singing pipe, and a kid-created thunderstorm!
Spin, Pop, Boom
The audience is amazed when the Mad Scientist defies gravity in this energetic and spectacular special event. The children are enthralled by the exciting sounds of the didgeridoo tubes. An explosion of foam ends this event and leave the audience wanting more!
Halloween
This eerie event will take children into the haunted Mad Science lab where they will learn about air pressure and attempt to help a vicious vampire into his "coffin". Find out how the evil witch can be melted away. The floating eyeballs will amaze everyone. Finally, the children will experience a cemetery effect that will thrill any audience!
Winter Holidays
From melting a snowman to helping "Santa-bert" get down the chimney, this holiday event will amaze and captivate children. Experience some chilly dry ice experiments. Find out how we melt an unmeltable snowman using science. November & December only.
Unearth a Story: Sounds Like Science
Unearth the Sounds of Science: Kids dig into science with the Mad Scientist as they investigate the science of sound. Unearth the science of how sound is made and how we hear it. Explore the wonders of our spinning sound tube! We’ll use teamwork to create an indoor thunderstorm. Together, we’ll uncover the mystery of a surprisingly loud dinosaur in a can!

Be Tobacco Free
An exciting, educational, and entertaining approach to help children make healthy choices about using tobacco products. Volunteers will pump up a real sheep’s lung, and children will see how the heart and lungs work and discover all about the toxic chemicals contained in tobacco products. Recommended for grades 3 - 6.
