Description

Embark on a week of exhilarating robot exploration made just for kids! Get ready to be awed as we delve into the fascinating world of robotics. Get hands-on as you make gears and set things into motion. Unite as a team to craft your very own circuits, unveiling the intricate web of connections that power robots. Delve into the mesmerizing world of sensors and witness how robots use them to navigate and interact with their surroundings. Discover the countless roles robots play in our daily lives. Experiment with sound-sensing marvels, master line-tracking wonders, and so much more! Throughout the week, you’ll create your own working robot to take home with you. It's a week filled with exploration, excitement, and the chance to become a budding robotics expert!

Additional Information

Advanced Robotics
As a team, use your imaginations to create their own robot designs & recycle materials to make a model of your team’s design. Try out some more robots & discover how robots are programmed via a sequence of commands. Take home the robot you built all week!
Circuit Science
Explore the “nuts and bolts” of robots as you build simple circuits. Test them out and discover how switches work. Find out what materials will conduct electricity best in robots as you check out a plasma ball. Construct your own scribble bot from scratch
Ready for Robots!
Explore the fundamentals of robotics and discover how robots are used. Find out what gears have in common with robots! Discover how robots need to have their movements co-operate as you with your friends on a co-op-a-walk. Make your own squiggle ball.
Robots 101
Learn about Asimov’s Laws of Robotics and their application to robot technology. Go on a bug hunt to learn how robots’ movements are similar to those seen in nature. Take home a springy robot-like hand that you work with your fingers.
Use Your Common Sensors
The world of robots is at their command as you build on your understanding of circuits. Build a system of snap circuits. Explore how robots use sensors as you play games that use your senses to communicate. Use your very own circuit maze to explore more.
