Here's what everyone has to say about our science camps!

Friendly, kind counselors; my son came home each day excited to talk about what he learned, program offered a variety of activities and take-home creations to make.

Washington, DC

Very informative and fun! Our son learned so much during his week of camp and came home excited each day about what he'd learned and done.

St. Louis, MO

My son attended the Earth, Space & Beyond Mad Science Camp last summer and absolutely loved it! The hours were convenient for our family, and the location was close by for us. We're sending him again to a Mad Science camp this upcoming summer. These are well run camps, in our experience, and I recommend them for people looking for a fun, science based camp experience.

Silver Spring, MD

What are your full-day and half-day camp hours?

Our full-day camps are 6 hours long and typically run from 9AM to 3PM. Our half-day camps are 3 hours long and typically run from 9AM to 12PM or 12PM to 3PM. However, we have some flexibility!

Does Mad Science have a minimum enrollment requirement?

The minimum number of campers necessary to hold a camp is 10. We always give at least a week's notice (usually more) if we have to cancel a camp.

What kind of space do I need to host a camp?

For the majority of the camp day, we need a large classroom with tables and chairs big enough for 20 kids to move around and do their experiments. This space does need to be indoors due to the St. Louis summer heat. Most camps require an outdoor space for doing some activities (like launching rockets!).
