Here's what everyone has to say about our science events!
Tim did a fantastic job with the kids. He was very entertaining and fun even before the program started. He helped them understand all of the science behind the presentations and made it fun while they were learning. He is a true gem!

FAQ
How soon should we book?
As soon as possible! We'll book events a year or more in advance. However, we can usually work you in 6 weeks in advance. Payment is due on the day of the event. So, no need to wait to schedule!
+What kind of space is best suited for a Mad Science special event? Can we have it outside?
For a show, an ideal location would be an area with an open space for the children to sit on the floor or bleachers. Mad Science shows and booths generally work best when held indoors. However, some can be performed outdoors, weather permitting, where shelter from the wind can be provided.
+Do we need to provide Mad Science with any equipment?
For each scheduled show or fun station, we require an 8-foot long table to place our equipment on. Depending on the event you select, we may need access to an electrical outlet and a sink, or other water source, to clean our glassware and other equipment after the event.
+When will our Mad Scientist arrive?
Mad Scientists will arrive 15-30 minutes before your scheduled start time to set up their material so they can start on time.
+What is your cancellation policy?
Please notify us immediately about any changes to your event. Our shows are in high demand and so our Mad Scientists. The sooner you let us know the sooner we can adjust our schedule. In cases of inclement weather, we ask that you stay in contact with us about your plans for your event.
+How do fun stations work?
These are great for kids to stop by and visit during fairs and science nights. Individual children usually interact with a booth for 3-6 minutes before they'll make their way to another booth. Most booths can accommodate 5-10 children at a time. Depending on the booth, 50-100 children can visit a booth during an hour.
